Message from WMD Director:

Our WMD Mission Goals:

1. Support our Foundation and our Church

2. Support our Mong Scripts

3. Become True Follower in Christ!

I am truly humbled and blessed to have become the Women's Ministry Director for 2018. God has truly made a way for me for in my heart, I burned for a way to shine His light that He has given me. I know and pray that my testimony will help lead the way to the truth and the light which is Jesus Christ.

1.    Support our Foundation and Church

Build your Foundation through reading the Bible. If you still question and have doubts then turn to the Bible. Ask to understand God more to understand His Love for us. He has loved us so much since before the beginning of time and has shown Himself through Jesus Christ again to redeem us once more from our sins. Your conviction in Christ will surely grow more and more through understanding the Holy Scriptures. Go over our 13 tenets of faith again: To know our Scriptures, know that all is created by God and that He is the ONLY true God, know we have fallen from Christ but there is Salvation, know that God is the Father, the Son and His Holy Spirit, know that we are all a Body of Christ, know that we should preach the Good News of our Lord Jesus Christ, that He has given us the power to do miracles in His name, in the end we will be resurrected, Jesus Christ will reign for one thousand years, there will be a Great Judgement and we shall be able to enter the New Heaven and New Earth if we believe and remain in Him.

We must also need to understand our history of where we began. "Finding God" is a book revealing to us how our Founder began this church with the world against him. He fought to teach us the Truth and to help us receive His Holy Spirit as well. We all have felt and known the presence of God in our lives and have received His Holy Spirit within our hearts. Read how our Founder Rev. Cher Vang received the Holy Spirit and know our church's true mission in life as a light for the world to see and pave the way for our Hmong people to know God and Jesus Christ as we know Him through His Good and Holy Spirit.

2.    Learning Mong Scripts

Our Mong scripts as you can see in our red song books is a testimony of true faith and power of Jesus Christ living in Rev. Cher Vang as he strives to help our Mong community grow as a respectable and recognizable nation. In June 2018, our Mong scripts will be made available to all our computers, tablets and cell phones to use.

Why is this important you ask? Because our Mong scripts is OURS. It was created by Mong for our Mong people. If you follow Rev. Chervang’s teachings on Sunday nights 7PM PST on hmongtvnetwork.com or on channel 32.6 in Fresno, California, you will see how important it is. We need to have a script that is ours and explains who we are in order to grow and become a distinguished people in this world.

3.    Become a True Follower of Christ

Trusting and living in Christ involves many hurdles and one of those hurdles is no other than YOURSELF. One verse that has helped me understand the way to Christ is this verse.

"Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow is the road that leads to life, and only a few find it."

Matthew 7: 13

How does this relate? By everything. Living for Christ never meant choosing the easy route or living the most comfortable way. Our path in life through Jesus Christ SHOULD change us, make us better ourselves, love others more, should build our faith and strengthen it. But rarely it is a path not taken because we do not want to set ourselves apart from others or this world.  Truly as women in Christ our first and foremost obstacle is ourselves.

Take criticism. Take advise. Learn and do your best to not react in a negative way. Do not hold grudges and let your burdens fall to the ground. Live a life where you would want to learn and want to be your best. Live a life where you can take the heat and learn from your mistakes. Live a life where you can still love each other after an argument, still be there for each other after a fall out. Jesus said, "Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword." Because this EARTH is not our home. We have struggles daily on earth. We work. We are mothers, daughters, sisters; we have duties and responsibilities that weigh us down at times. But do not be disheartened because Jesus Christ has given us a peace deep within our hearts if we accept Him into our lives and accept His Holy Spirit.  “Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful." (Colossians 3:15).

Be thankful. For although we may walk through the fire, Lord you are with us. Although we may walk through darkness, You Lord are a shining light guiding us. Although we may have troubles on all sides Lord, as we uphold Your goodness in all that we do, You will stay by our side.

Do not run from your troubles but face them with love, goodness and with the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ as He has given us.

Do not be confused by what you hear and what you do not understand, but listen to the small, tranquil voice inside us. The one that brings us peace. The one that humbles us and breaks ourselves down so that our Lord Jesus Christ can show through. The one that makes us fall to our knees and makes us know that the Only Way is through Jesus Christ.

Thank you, Lord. May only YOU be glorified in all that we do.
